Many horror game fans would love the popular first-person psychological horror video game, "Outlast." Fans have been clamoring for the game on the Nintendo Switch. While there has never been n announcement on a release date, it is now actually up for grabs on the eShop.

It is aptly called a "bundle" since purchasing the "Outlast: Bundle of the Terror" will give players the main game and the "Whistleblower" downloadable content (DLC). It is also interesting how it, like a jump scare, just came out of nowhere and being placed on the eShop.

For those who have no idea about the DLC, "Whistleblower" is actually set and talks about the beginnings of the main "Outlast" game — its prequel. On the other hand, "Outlast 2," which was already released for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC, is the sequel. Fortunately, publisher Red Barrels will also be releasing the second game on the Switch as well.

However, there is no release date set yet. The news about both games was previously mentioned by Red Barrels noting that they would release the games for the Switch so it is quite appropriate for them to put the first game in the console. Their Facebook page also previously shared a photo of one of the developers playing the game on the console back in December. No other news was then mentioned.

For gamers who have yet to try the game, "Outlast" revolves around the protagonist — a journalist named Miles Upshur who investigates the psychiatric hospital Mount Massive Asylum. Even in real life, from that alone, players will know that it is a scary setting to be in. The DLC, on the other hand, is about the man who led Miles to the Asylum in the first place.

Again, "Outlast: Bundle of Terror" is available now on the eShop and costs $19.99.
