'One Piece' chapter 836 spoilers: Big Mom to use power on Sanji?

 Shonen Jump

Although serial manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump is supposed to have a hiatus for this week, speculations on its running series keep on making their rounds online, including hit pirate manga "One Piece."

According to rumors, the next chapter will involve Big Mom using her power of souls on Sanji, in order for the Vinsmoke heir to continue with his marriage to Big Mom's daughter. In previous chapters, it is revealed that although Sanji has already been beaten by his dad and placed under house arrest (through bomb-infused cuffs), the Straw Hat chef has yet to acquiesced with the wedding.

Meanwhile, although there are no direct confirmation on Big Mom taking center stage at the upcoming chapter, her powers being foreshadowed in chapter 835 may mean that another big event is expected. The latest chapter confirmed that the Yonkou's power can interact directly with people's souls, and Luffy and some of his friends had glimpsed a taste of it at the Seducing Forest.

In addition, aside from Big Mom displaying her power in chapter 836, it is also said that the upcoming chapters will highlight Brooke and Pedro's attempt to steal the Road Poneglyph right under Big Mom's nose. When the Straw Hat Pirates arrived at the island, they went their separate ways, with Brooke and Pedro trying to infiltrate and take the supposed map part. It is revealed that there are a number of Road Poneglyphs that are scattered across the New World, and assembling them all will point towards the location of the famed Raftel, said to be the home of the Pirate King's One Piece.

"One Piece" chapter 836 will supposedly return with the new volume of Weekly Shonen Jump. According to the website, the next one, issue 38, will be out on Aug. 22.
