While the rest of the world is busy anticipating the release of Apple's newest smartphone to date, China is already experiencing the joy of using their own version from a local company called Xiaomi.

The newest iPhone 6 and its bigger iPhone 6 Plus is considered as the most powerful release from Apple. On the other hand, Xiaomi's Mi4 is known to be the Asian version of iPhone. But which among these smartphones is better than the other?

Here is a comparison between the soon to be released iPhone and the recently unveiled Xiaomi Mi4.

iPhone 6 is certainly more popular since this US-manufactured phone has the luxury of being sold all over the world. The clamor for its release on Sept. 19 had already made worldwide users want to pre-order it as early as Sept. 12.

On the other hand, the Chinese Xiaomi only has a cult following in its homeland. However, it already sold over 18.7 million smartphones last year, and the numbers are expected to increase up to 300 percent in 2014. The brand is also selling better than Apple and Samsung in China. It would probably sell more if it will given a chance to have a worldwide market just like the iPhone 6.
