'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 episode 8 spoilers: Annalise warns Frank to stay away from her

Big secrets will be finally unveiled in the winter finale of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3.

At the end of the previous episode, Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) most protected student Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) appeared to be the one who betrayed her. This means that Wes is not the one who ended up dead at the fire that destroyed Annalise's house.

The episode also dropped another shocking moment when Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) suddenly returned to Philadelphia. He first appeared at his ex-girlfriend Laurel Castillo's (Karla Souza) place, but he discovered that Laurel and Wes are already together. He then dropped by to see Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil) at her home, but he sent him off angrily after he left him in a motel after they hooked up. In the last minutes of the episode, Frank returned to Laurel's flat to announce his return.

In episode 8 titled "Who's Dead?" Frank will use Laurel to get in touch with Annalise. But based on the trailer, Annalise appears to be unwilling to see her former henchman after everything that happened between them.

The trailer revealed that Laurel will call Annalise to tell her about Frank, but the criminal lawyer will tell her that she does not want to have anything to do with him at the moment. "You tell him that if he comes anywhere near this house he's dead," the feisty lawyer said in the trailer.

The Futon Critic released the synopsis for the winter finale of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2, which reads: "Annalise receives a tip about A.D.A. Atwood that leads to a heated confrontation with Nate. Meanwhile, the deadly events leading up to Annalise's house fire reveal who's under the sheet."

Currently, the fates of Frank, Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee), and Nate Lahey (Billy Brown) remain unaccounted for. This could mean that one of them could be the person who died during the house fire.

ABC will air the upcoming episode on Thursday, Nov. 17, on ABC.
