A lot of fans are excited about the premiere date of the new "High School Musical" movie, and as such a lot of them are speculating what the film has to offer. Latest reports indicate that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens could return as a couple because of the fan anticipation for a Troy/Gabriella reunion.

According to Game N Guide, a lot of rumors are saying that Efron and Hudgens have already agreed to return for "High School Musical 4." Some sources say that the two have already fixed the rift between them, and both actors are now ready to return and do scenes together once again. After all, the two had some second thoughts about returning because of their shocking break-up back in 2010, which certainly disappointed a lot of fans.

Regardless of whatever transpired between them, it seems that both actors have already agreed to move on from their sad past and reunite for another "High School Musical" movie. Some sources also claim that the two will be reprising their roles once again, with Efron playing Troy Bolton and Hudgens playing Gabriela Montez.

Furthermore, in the movie, they are already married and with children. This piece of information then started rumors that one of the main characters in the upcoming movie — Peyton — is their child.

However, Christian Times reports that regardless of the rumors, Troy and Gabriela will be seen in a new light. The couple will appear as mature adults compared to their characters in the earlier films. Also, it is confirmed that the focus of the new "High School Musical" movie will not only be on the East High Wildcats but also on their long-time rival school, the West High Knights.

"High School Musical 4" still has an unconfirmed release date, but it is expected to be shown sometime in 2018. In any case, fans should stay tuned for more updates.
