American singer and pop star, Gwen Stefani, has been recently undergoing a resurgence when it comes to her faith. In fact, Stefani had recently released a Christmas album, and promoted it on Jimmy Fallon's late night television show, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." However, due to her renewed faith, Stefani is concerned that she might have accidentally ripped off an already existing church song.

During the interview with Fallon, Stefani revealed that her original Christmas song titled "Christmas Eve" could possibly have been plagiarized in some way. Stefani detailed the story as to how she came up with the song, and stated that the creative idea came about while she went out in the past for a jog, and decided to make a Christmas song that revolves around a prayer-like theme and tone to it.

However, in the middle of recording the song, she thought to herself that it might be possible that she had heard the song before in a church, after which she consulted her devoted boyfriend and previous co-coach at the television show, "The Voice," Blake Shelton. As it turns out, Shelton liked the song so much that he even decided to record it for his own Christmas album.

As Stefani was narrating her story, she stated "Is this from church because I feel like I know this song? I was convinced that I stole it." If this is true, this could be legitimate grounds for copyright infringement but it appears that this is the least of her concerns right now. She is completely ecstatic about releasing a religiously inspired Christmas album. Stefani attributes her newfound faith to Shelton completely, according to Yahoo! News.

Back in 2015, Stefani was going through the toughest time in her life due to her divorce with now ex-husband and father of her three children, Gavin Rossdale. In the same year, she ended up dating Shelton, to her surprise as well as the shock of many. Stefani now believes that dating Shelton was one of the best decision she made in her life, and is completely in love with the country singer.
