'Glee' season 6 series finale spoilers: Finn Hudson's memory lives on

"The phenomenon says goodbye."

The quote was taken from the series finale teaser for "Glee" season 6, which will air on Friday.

The two-hour series finale promises to roundup the entire comedy musical drama by bringing viewers back to the past through flashbacks, and forward to the future via a time jump.

The first hour of the two-part finale titled "2009" seems to be dedicated to the time when McKinley High's glee club was first getting started. According to TVLine, the events during the entire hour happened in the past. This is when the eternal rivals Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) was still in good terms with then-coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), and MySpace and Blockbuster are still the most popular social media sites at the time.

But the episode will also offer a touching tribute to the late Finn Hudson. Finn was part of the original glee club, but he passed away in the series when Corey Monteith, the actor who gave life to the character, died in July 2013 of drug overdose. According to International Business Times, the first half of the series finale will be dedicated to the time when Finn was alive.

Some of the cast members of the hit musical series attended the PaleyFest recently, and told the press and the fans present that the remaining members of the New Directions will have to assess whether Finn was really a good guy or a total bully when he was still alive. Chris Colfer, the actor who portrayed the role of Finn's step brother Kurt Hummel, emotionally talked about Monteith in front of the press panel.

"The memories are endless. My favorite thing about Cory is that we always had accidental fun together. He was a very, very special guy," Colfer stated.

On the other hand, the Hollywood Life managed to get hold of some of the teaser images for the second part of the series finale titled "Dreams Do Come True." Based on the photos, Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) becomes pregnant with Jesse St. James' (Jonathan Groff) child, and she and the rest of the McKinley High glee club are still friends.

The two-part series finale for "Glee" will air on Friday, March 20.
