A new face is about to join the growing roster of characters in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 4. 33-year-old star Kevin Zegers has been tapped to join the AMC series in an unknown role yet.

The network remains mum about the Canadian actor's character on the spin-off show. The series' cast is obviously growing as Maggie Grace, Garret Dillahunt, and Jenna Elfman were also recently announced to join the show.

However, just like Zegers, best known as Oscar Keaton in the ABC series "Notorious," the other stars' new roles are still kept under wraps. The only known things about "Fear the Walking Dead" season 4 include its filming location being moved to Austin, Texas, and that a crossover with "The Walking Dead" is happening.

It was recently revealed that Morgan Jones, who play the role of Lennie James in "The Walking Dead," will come to the "Fear the Walking Dead" season 4 to complete the crossover story. Of course, they will be joined by the series' original cast -- Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, and Colman Domingo.

In fact, AMC recently revealed two photos of James on the set of the series' production in Texas. The snaps marked his first day as an official cast member of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 4.

In an interview, James said that the hardest part of beginning the new show is leaving his "The Walking Dead" family. He added that leaving the original series' cast and crew is really heartbreaking, although he already bid his good-byes to them.

Aside from the new cast members, "Fear the Walking Dead" season 4 has a new pair of showrunners with Ian Goldberg and Scott Chambliss, replacing Dave Erickson. "The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott Gimple will also be the spin-off series' new executive producer.

"Fear the Walking Dead" is expected to return in 2018 on AMC.
