Emma Watson, Mack Knight called it quits?

Joining the roster of celebrity breakups of 2017 is Emma Watson and boyfriend William "Mack" Knight.

After almost two years, the "Harry Potter" actress and her boyfriend reportedly called it quits. "They amicably went [their] separate ways in early 2017," a source said to Page Six. The 27-year-old Watson was last seen with Knight in New York during a date in May.

The pair first sparked rumors in October 2015 when they were seen leaving Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City after watching the Broadway show "Hamilton." Watson and Knight dressed casually when they watched the show, both wearing jeans.

After that, Watson and Knight were seen in California in early 2016, spending some time together while hiking and relaxing. The two were reportedly taking a vacation in Big Sur, at the posh VIP Post Ranch Inn. A source claimed that the "Perks of Being a Wallflower" actress admired Knight for being down-to-earth and that he was not from the show business.

Watson nor the 37-year-old tech businessman had yet to comment on this matter. The actress had been known to keep things away from cameras. The "Beauty and the Beast" actress can be recalled saying in an interview with Vanity Fair in February, "I want to be consistent: I can't talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can't have it both ways."

Knight has a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University in 2003 and went on to Columbia Business School for his MBA. He has worked in Medallia Professional Services.

Prior to dating the businessman, Watson had dated rugby player Matt Janney. Their relationship ended in December 2014. She described the split as "horrendous" and revealed that she had to undergo a one week retreat to recover.
