'Dragon Ball Super' episode 33 spoilers: Son Goku turns Super Saiyan in his match against Botamo

Dragon Ball Super Toei Animation

The exciting match between Son Goku and Botamo will happen in episode 33 of "Dragon Ball Super."

Based on the sneak peek at the episode titled "Be Surprised, Universe 6! This is Super Saiyan – Son Goku," during his very first match in the Universe 6 Martial Arts Tournament, the main character of the "Dragon Ball" franchise will be facing the yellow-skinned fighter known as one of the most powerful warriors in the entire universe.

It can be seen in the trailer that Botamo is not taking Son Goku seriously and that he seems to be the type of fighter who engages in body slam attacks to defeat his opponent.

However, Son Goku wants to show Botamo that he is not the type of fighter whom he should take lightly. That is why he shows the yellow-skinned creature how powerful he can be by turning into his Super Saiyan form.

This could be one of the few times when fans will see Son Goku turn into a Super Saiyan in "Dragon Ball Super." This will allow his body to be immune to the most powerful physical attacks and give him a large advantage over his opponents because he might not get hurt.

Spoilers also claim that Son Goku will easily defeat Botamo despite the latter's numerous body slam attempts to uproot the powerful fighter. The episode is also expected to reveal that Son Goku's next opponent for the tournament will be Frost, believed to be one of Frieza's relatives. Their match is expected to be featured in the next episode of the animated series.

The 33rd episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will air on Fuji TV on Sunday, Feb. 28.
