With a lot of exciting games coming, it is unfortunately quite usual for fans to hear of news about a delay of their favorite game's release. Sony knows the frustration as well but has just announced a smaller release window for Insomniac Games' highly anticipated games, "Days Gone" and "Marvel's Spider-Man."

Sony, being the big company that many gamers are looking up to, has just released their "Year in Review" email to all of their subscribed fans. Undoubtedly one of the most exciting parts of the email is where Sony themselves places a list of games that fans can expect within the year.

One of the major games that appeared on the list is "Days Gone." The action-adventure survival game in a post-apocalyptic open world will definitely be coming out this year. Although that is not much of a small release window, fans are at least sure that the game would not be pushed back further.

However, one of the games that apparently did not make it to the list the latest "Marvel's Spider-Man" game. With news of how the gameplay takes several days to complete and teasers released to keep the hype up, fans are expecting that it should come out soon. Sony, ironically, listed the game on their website as "TBC."

With its absence in the list from the "Year in Review" email, needless to say, fans are getting worried. Unlike "Days Gone," "Marvel's Spider-Man" was already previously listed for a 2018 release. While it comes down to which source should be more reliable, fans may have believed that the "Year in Review" is more updated.

On the positive side, recent reports say that community director of Insomniac Games, James Stevenson, reassured fans of its release on a ResetEra post by simply saying "Spider-Man is 2018".
