Veronica Patridge, the Christian blogger who decided to give up leggings in order to avoid generating lustful thoughts from men earlier this year has started blogging again, and this time, she is placing her focus on her family's Arukah Ranch.

Partridge became the subject of online backlash and criticisms after writing her post "Why I Chose to No Longer Wear Leggings" back in January. She explained that her decision was solely her own, and she was in no way dictating how other women should wear clothes, but it didn't stop a lot of people getting upset with her article and she took a break from blogging.

"It's been some time since the whole LEGGINGS fiasco hit. Whoa that was a whirlwind, but I'm glad it's over!" she wrote on her self-named blog. "The dust has settled quite a bit, so, now onto things I care quite a bit more about, the journey our family has been taking going from city life to starting our own hobby farm."

She shared several pictures of their Arukah Ranch home's progress. They started out with just a vacant lot, then they got the foundation in place, and now a house stands proudly over the once-empty space.

"I really couldn't ask for things to be going any better than they are," wrote Partridge. "The house has come a long way since my last update, in my previous post there wasn't even a house there. The old house was torn down and cleared out and now the new home has had the foundation poured, has been completely framed and is ready for drywall."

She praised their builders for working long days and weekends, and even during the snow just to ensure that their property got done on time. Partridge added that the work is scheduled to finish by the end of May to early June, and she is really excited to move into their new home at the beginning of summer.
