A new multiplayer map and specialist have been officially revealed for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

The reveals came courtesy of a new video jointly released by Activision and Treyarch.

Starting with the new multiplayer map, players will soon be able to do battle in a location known as Redwood. According to Gamespot, the new map gets its name from the famous Redwood Forest located in the state of California.

The new multiplayer map is reportedly special for a couple of reasons. First off, it was apparently the last multiplayer map that was made for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." Such is important because it means the game's developers were able to use their previous experiences creating the other maps to make this one. Many are hoping that Redwood will be a relatively problem-free map.

Redwood is also special because it is supposedly different from other multiplayer maps. Unfortunately, the game's developers did not elaborate just how it would be different from the other multiplayer maps inside "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

Moving on to the new specialist, the recently revealed character is known as Firebreak. This new specialist will be wielding a flamethrower named the Purifier and a special ability known as Heat Wave.

In related news, Treyarch has also revealed a new mechanic when it comes to the campaign mode of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

According to Eurogamer, all of the campaign missions will now be available right from the start.

According to Jason Blundell, director of the game's campaign and Zombies modes, the decision to make the missions available from the start was done in order to enable players to enjoy the game exactly how they want and also to do away with the unlocking system he termed to be "archaic."

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be released on Nov. 6.
