Rumor has it that Bruce Wayne's past will be depicted in the most awaited DC Comics movie adaptation "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." A leaked video shows that the family patriarch himself, Thomas Wayne, will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Dropping by "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the actor was asked if he will take part in the highly-anticipated superhero flick. Kimmel mentioned the leaked footage, which features a painting of a man that noticeably had major resemblance with the "Watchmen" alum.

"God dang, it sure looks like me, doesn't it?" the 49-year-old celeb exclaimed.

In the end, the actor neither debunked nor confirmed the rumors about his inclusion in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" but simply invited fans to check it out for themselves when the movie hits the silver screen.

"I think you probably have to go watch the movie to see if that's me, but it looks a lot like me, man," Morgan simply stated.

According to HNGN, the actor's stint as Thomas Wayne is likely a minor one, considering all the other characters and superheroes the movie is bound to introduce.

Despite the actor's statements, many are already convinced that Morgan will take part in the retelling of Bruce Wayne's childhood as seen in FOX series "Gotham." According to IB Times, "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will show young Bruce as he laid his eyes on the criminality in the underworld city. The movie is expected to begin with Bruce's history.

In turn, it is heavily speculated that characters such the Waynes, James Gordon, The Joker, Catwoman, Dick Grayson, The Riddler, Alfred, who were all seen in the freshman run of "Gotham" on FOX, will make an appearance in the movie, despite being a "Man of Steel" sequel.

For now, there is no other way of telling if "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hark back into the Dark Knight's past other than waiting for its release set on March 25, 2016.
