The trailer of the first volume of "Attack on Titan: Lost Girls" original video animation (OVA) was recently released. This is a three-part spin-off of the famous Japanese anime series "Attack on Tian."

A lengthy teaser of the "Lost Girls" OVA, titled "Wall Sina, Goodbye," provides a preview of the anime featuring Annie Leonhart. This is the first of the three OVAs, which is anticipated to release this month. The debut of the spin-off will highlight the life of Annie before she is given the task to kidnap Eren Jaeger.

To recall, Annie was frozen in the finale episode of "Attack on Titan" season 1. She was kept by the Survey Corps to study her body and eventually find the answer on how to kill the Titans. Since then, fans did not get a glimpse of Anny anymore. However, this new anime will finally feature her comeback.

The preview shows a flashback when Marco died at the hands of the Titans, while Annie and their friends watched helplessly. Marco's death is still fresh for Annie and she kept on dreaming about it. The clip also shows Annie wandering about the Stohess District. Hitch Dreyse gave her a mission to help find Carly Stratmann. For Annie, this is a distraction from her impending betrayal to the Survey Corps. However, something will happen that will make her mission complicated.

Annie will be separated from the Survey Crops during a search for Carly. While going around, Annie will uncover a wide-ranging criminal ring within the Stohess District. This will affect her mission to find the Coordinate for Paradis.

The upcoming "Attack on Titan: Lost Girls" OVA comes in three parts. Volume 24 is "Wall Sina, Goodbye," while Volume 25 is titled "Lost in the Cruel World," which is about Mikasa Ackerman. It will feature Mikasa in a place where Titans did not exist while she is growing by her parents' side. Eventually, Mikasa meets Eren Jaeger and their friendship begins.

The third part is Volume 26 titled "Lost Girls." In this volume, it will feature both Mikasa and Annie during their training days in the military. The two talk about their training regimes. Aside from that, they also confide in each other about the true reason why they joined the military.

"Attack on Titan: Lost Girls" was originally two visual novels from Nitroplus and anime screenwriter Hiroshi Seko. It was released with volumes 3 and 6 of the original TV anime's Blu-ray release in 2013. It included the titles "Lost in the Cruel World" about Mikasa and "Goodbye Wall Sina" about Annie.

Seko expanded them into a prose novel in 2014 and it became a manga in 2015. Now, it is set to become an original animation DVD (OAD) wherein volumes 24, 25, and 26 will be out on Dec. 8, April 9, 2018, and Aug. 9, 2018, respectively.
