'Assassin's Creed Unity' and 'Rogue' plots revealed as anticipated release date set for Nov. 11

 Ubisoft

"Assassin's Creed" fans were disappointed when Black Flag was released last year, since the game mostly veered away from the original plot by featuring pirates instead of assassins. But Ubisoft will try to correct their mistake once the new installment of the historical action-adventure game is released next week.

The upcoming "Assassin's Creed Unity" will feature Parisian sceneries during the French Revolution, which is the perfect setting for looking for targets as well as escaping villains.

Since the franchise is known to contain heavy historical plots in each game, it is very important to get all the details right.

The production manager for "Assassin's Creed Unity" Jeffrey Spicer talked to Fairfax Media to discuss how they managed to get all the information as accurate as possible.

"We have historians on team who we work with closely, especially from the character standpoint," Spicer shared. "For era-specific clothing, from the bourgeois down to the peasants, we found a lot of evidence and records regarding the clothing of the time."

Spicer also teased that several important historical figures will be featured in the fictional game, including Maximilian Robespierre, Napoleon Bonaparte, as well as Marquis de Sade, who will have a very interesting relationship with "Assassin's Creed" protagonist Arno Dorian.

The game will start selling on Nov. 11 across all platforms such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows edition.

GottaBeMobile reported that "Assassin's Creed Unity" will be sold in two versions in the Xbox Store. The "Assassin's Creed Unity" Gold Edition has a tag price of $89.99, which will include downloadable content. Meanwhile, the regular "Assassin's Creed Unity" is sold for only $59.99, and it will come with a special sword. A special mission called Chemical Revolution is said to be featured in both versions.

On the other hand, the sequel for "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" dubbed as "Assassin's Creed Rogue" will also be released on the same day as Unity.
