5 Bible verses for when you are struggling to fight off sexual temptation

Have you ever struggled with lust and sexual temptation? You may be struggling with it now.  But don't feel like you are alone in your struggle because that's what Satan wants you to feel.

He wants you to feel like your flesh is so weak you will never win over it.  He wants you to feel like the Word is powerless to help you.  He wants you to feel like God is so disgusted with you that there's no way He will step in to save you - or forgive you.

All of these thoughts and feelings are complete lies and you must firmly reject them!

Jesus tells us that Satan is the father of all lies so it's something he's an expert at.  He knows how to speak just the right lies to you to make you stop trusting in God and turning to Him in the moments you need Him most.

But God is the one fighting for you!  He is not the one looking to abandon you at the first - or even the last - mistake you make.

The only way to beat the Devil's lies is to become an expert in God's truth.

When Satan's lies are pressing into you and making you feel like the last thread of your faith is about to snap forever, start meditating on these Bible verses. But don't just read them in a light-hearted way once or twice and think that's going to be enough.

You are in a spiritual warfare for your very heart and soul.  Satan wants to take control of your heart so he can keep you prisoner and ultimately destroy you.

Lust is a killer of all things holy and pure, most especially our holy and pure love for our Father God. So do not under any circumstances let it occupy your heart.

Meditate intensely on these verses, write them down, say them out loud, and pray them to God, asking Him to make them real in your heart and your life, and keep praying until you see answers.

The words of God are your weapon in fighting off one of Satan's most powerful weapons.  For sure, the Word is stronger because it is the weapon made by God Himself and He freely gave it to His children to use in this spiritual warfare and win!  Start sharpening your spiritual weapon today and brandish it boldly in Satan's face, starting with these Bible verses.  And be sure to end your meditation with the powerful prayer featured below:
