"Bringing Up Bates" stars Zach and Whitney Bates are smiling from ear to ear after they welcomed the arrival of their baby girl Kaci Lynn on Monday.

Kaci Lynn was born around 10:32pm on June 20 and weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. The Christian couple said they are extremely grateful for God's blessings and for fans who have continuously prayed for a healthy pregnancy and birth.

Zach and Whitney also said that meeting Kaci Lynn for the very first time surpassed all of their expectations.

"We were overcome with emotions that just cannot be described when we saw our little Kaci Lynn and held her in our arms for the first time. We have anticipated this moment for months, yet it exceeded all of our dreams. Looking in her sweet little eyes just took our breath away. It's an incredible feeling to finally see her face and see Bradley meet his baby sister," they said, according to The Christian Post.

Shortly after Whitney gave birth, their first born son Bradley joined them at the hospital. His parents' hearts melted as the young boy gave his new sister a kiss. "We could not ask for more!" they gushed.

"Bringing Up Bates," the highest-rated series in UPtv's history, is now in its fourth season. Just like the Duggar family of the former TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting," Gil and Kelly Jo Bates run a loving Christian household for their 19 children.

The focus of season 4 is more on the Bates kids as they explore new loves, new careers, and new additions to their family. The changes in the family dynamics are all very exciting, and the family was recently had to lean on their strong Christian faith after their patriarch Gil had an emergency health scare.

The arrival of Kaci Lynn will no doubt be a joy to all the family after a trying time.

"Bringing Up Bates" airs every Thursday on UPtv.
