The latest updated handset from Apple, either iPhone 5s or iPhone 6, is not expected to make an appearance at the WWDC. All rumors of new Apple devices point to a fall release date.

The iPad 3 and iPad Mini were previously revealed at the annual event, and although the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 may be showcased at the event, it is not expected to be released until fall.

As for Apple's line of Macbook Pro and Mabook Air, the Cupertino-based company is expected to upgrade both the retina and non-retina version of the Pros with the powerful Haswell processor, which was only unveiled last week. The latest processor will significantly increase battery life in the power notebooks. Rumors surrounding the upgraded Retina Macbook Pro line is that it come with an even slimmer design and a full HD FaceTime camera.

The new line of ultra portable Macbook Air notebooks may feature faster wi-fi, an updated Airport Extreme and Time Capsule wireless base stations.

The new lineup of notebooks is rumored to ship by the end of Q2, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chu Kuo, who is known for accurately predicting release dates for Apple's highly anticipated products.

The latest operating system, the iOS 7 and OS X 10.9 will also be revealed at the annual event, acording to latest rumors. The latest OS is slated to have a "flat" design, similar to the interface used for Windows 8 and Windows Phone. According to leaked photos, the design is set to feature bolder colors. The previous Lock Screen for iOS 7 is also rumored to be replaced with a "shine-free, black interface."

The WWDC event will take place June 10-14 in San Francisco. It is an annual conference for Apple developers and engineers to get an "in-depth look" at what's next in iOS and OS X, and to learn how to take apps to the next level.
