Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) in The Walking Dead Season 5

"The Walking Dead" fans cannot seem to get enough of the spoilers leading to the upcoming airing of the new episodes for the remainder of the post-apocalyptic show's fifth season.

After Greg Nicotero, the director of the midseason finale, discussed how happy he was with the outcome of the story, lead actor Andrew Lincoln teased about the remaining episodes in the season through an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Based on the interview, Lincoln's character Rick will be a little "reckless" in the upcoming episodes of the season.

Further, the actor said he is very fortunate to have landed the job in "TWD," and he is extremely glad to be portraying an amazing character. Then he teased that the soon-to-be released episode 9 is something that he could consider as one of the best episodes that they have ever done in the entire series.

Lincoln described the episode, saying, "It's worth saying that episode 9 is one of the great episodes we've ever done. And 10 is the episode I always wanted to make."

Looking back at the past episodes in season 5, the actor teased, "And then we do something very, very different in the back half, but believe me when I say it comes full circle and I think the back eight is some of the most interesting storytelling we've ever done on this show. It's so exciting to do. It's been scary, but also it's been thrilling because it's so different."

Speculations about the upcoming midseason premiere of AMC's widely popular suspense drama state that Rick's group is probably heading to the Alexandria Safe-Zone in Alexandria, Virginia. Fans can also expect to see the group grieving over the death of their friend Beth (Emily Kinney), which happened during the midseason finale.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 episode 9 signals the start of the second half of the season. It will air on Sunday, Feb. 9.
