Video of dancing half-naked young boy in Brazil raises concerns

A video of a young boy dancing in a sexual manner during a gay pride event as posted on YouTube has raised concerns ranging from disgust over early sexual behaviour of children to paedophilia.

The unidentified boy, younger than 12 years, was recorded dancing with only a pair of skimpy shorts on to drag queen RuPaul's song "Sissy That Walk" at the Sao Paolo Pride Festival in Brazil while audiences cheered him on, Christian News reported.

The video, titled "this is the future you chose," was posted last week by online publication Ovenworthy.

"This kid is such an inspiration! Progressives need to work together to create a whole generation of kids like this," Ovenworthy wrote of the video.

Only viewers age 18 and up can watch the video because of its sexualised content.

Gay Star News accused those who oppose the video as "homophobes," saying the boy was only "having a great time," said Christian News, but as of this writing, the story did not contain the said allegation.

One reader reportedly commented: "I bet homophobes rather see a young boy carrying a gun. Homophobes should mind their own sex-life! Do we question their bed-activities?"

Another reader said: "In the 90's there was a popular booty-shaking dance Lambada, not much different from twerking—all the kids were dancing! This kid is just having fun, and yes, in Brazil sexuality is a lot more part of the culture than any Westerner can understand."

Others, however, were disturbed with the footage.

"I'm not a homophobe, but I find videos of prepubescent children dancing provocatively completely disgusting. I also find Gay Star news method of defence equally disgusting," said a reader.

"As a transgender woman I find this disgusting. Why would you get a prepubescent child to do acts like this? People already think we're paedophiles," another reader said.

One person commented: "That kid didn't just learn that from anywhere. He has obviously been exposed to inappropriate behavior and it is up to his guardians to look after him properly. The kid might not see it as sexual, but that is not the point, and if you think this type of behaviour and little boys in tight short shorts is OK then you have a serious problem..."

Barbwire.com's Christian commentator Matt Barber said the video is a sign of society's "moral degradation" even as he linked homosexuality to paedophilia.

"[T]his is extremely disgusting and troubling. It is, however, where we are headed as a nation," he said.

"The sexual anarchist agenda steamrolls ahead and children are in the cross-hairs. The organized 'LGBT' lobby has long lusted for the abolition of all age of consent laws. While not all 'gays' are child abusers, pederasty has been a central aspect of the homosexual lifestyle since the days of the Greek bathhouse."

Barbwire.com's guest blogger Caiden Cowger aired a similar view:

"This is further proof that the homosexual movement is not about equality, but about the normalization of sexual perversion."

"It also reveals that it is just a matter of time before paedophilia will be promoted under the 'LGBT' banner in the US. In many countries it already is."
