There's no denying that Ubisoft's "Tom Clancy's The Division" will be a game that will go down in history as one of the best video games made in this era and Ubisoft is making sure that the game will indeed keep up to its hype.

Primarily, "Tom Clancy's The Division" was slated for release on the 3^rd or 4^th quarter of 2014. However, Ubisoft recently announced that the release date will be moved to 2015. There's no exact date for the release next year. Nonetheless, it will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms only.

Right now, the game's development is being worked on by three studios, namely Ubisoft Red Storm, Ubisoft Reflections and Massive Entertainment. Three studios all working for one game is proof enough that Ubisoft wants to deliver what they are set out to do with "Tom Clancy's The Division."

The reason for the delay is quite obvious and Ubisoft Massive's managing director explained why. He said that such a massive game will be difficult to stamp a release date on. With over 400 people working on the highly advanced game, everyone is trying to live up to its 90+ metacritics rating. It sounds just right that Ubisoft and the team are taking their time making the best game ever.

Many are questioning why "Tom Clancy's The Division" will only be available in three platforms. A massive game like this is being yearned for by all hardcore gamers out there and yet, it will only be released in selected platforms. The game is run with the Snowdrop engine, which only suits the newer gaming consoles. The older consoles function differently. Hence, it won't be available for PS3 and Xbox 360, sad to say.

What might seem to be a long wait before the highest technologically advance game is released, you can trust that "Tom Clancy's The Division" is very much worth the wait.
