With the Festive season underway, Tearcraft has released a new Christmas collection of eco-friendly and fair trade goods for people to send as gifts this year.

The selection of gifts and items includes eco-friendly Christmas cards produced with sustainable materials passed by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).

One of the items available is the "Little Christmas" pack of 20 Christmas cards featuring a simple "Happy Christmas" greeting. In addition to this, ethically minded shoppers can purchase recycled gift wrap and gift tags.

Tearcraft has also produced the traditional advent calendar with fair trade chocolate and Christmas decorations hand made by craftspeople in the developing world.

Tearcraft is the trading arm of development agency Tearfund. Tearfund actively promotes fair trade and sustainable employment for craftspeople in poor communities.

The new Christmas collection features over 400 products produced in countries such as Bangaldesh, Indiam Thailand, Nepal, Peru and Mexico.
