Sony Xperia Z3 returns to T-Mobile network

Barely a month after major carrier T-Mobile dropped the Sony Xperia Z3 from its products line up, the device is back on the company's shelves again.

The Xperia Z3 is not one of the most popular of T-Mobile's handsets, and this might be the cause of the company quietly dropping the device off their products list. In a tweet last month, T-Mobile announced that the Xperia Z3 is no longer available as a product.

However, T-Mobile has just recently issued a statement over tech site The Verge, confirming the return of the handset, and saying that the set back over the past month was just a temporary measure as the company is readying its inventory.

In the statement, T-Mobile announced, "Sales of the Xperia Z3 were temporarily suspended while we waited to receive additional inventory from Sony to support taking orders."

"We've since resumed online sales at T-Mobile.com and expect to have the phone back in stores by the end of the week."

Moreover, since the Xperia Z3 is back on the shelves, current users and future buyers would now be eagerly waiting for the Lollipop update for the device. Sadly, it might take months for the update to roll out. According to T-Mobile, "We're working very hard on the Xperia Z3 Lollipop update for T-Mobile customers – and to ensure customers get the best possible experience with this update. We're hoping to roll it out in upcoming months and will share more details as they're available."

The Xperia Z3 is one of the current flagship devices of Japanese tech giant Sony, as the next-in-line Xperia Z4 is currently only available in Japan. The Z3 has a 5.2-inch full HD display, a 20.7 MP camera, and can work in a variety of elements as the device is scratch, water, and dust resistant.
