As far as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is concerned, the only thing certain right now is that it has goen through the FCC and TENAA for certification purposes. But as to when it will officially comes out becomes a bit to sketchy.

Apparently rumors are the only things to come by these days as far as when the next Samsung Tablet will hit the market is anybody's guess. The safe assumption is that the said tablet will be out anytime this year, the end of this month the earliest and October (hopefully) the latest.

Here is what we know thus far.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will come in two variants, the 8.0 and 9.7. The numbers actually denote the tablet screen sizes, with both having the same display of 2048x1536 pixels full HD resolution.

With regards to other specs, the tablet is expected to be equipped with an Exynos 5433 processor for both variants (clocked at 1.9 GHz) which will be supported by 3GB of RAM. It will also come with 16GB of internal storage but will reportedly come with provisions for more storage by way of the added microSD card slot.

As far as other specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will come with an 8MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. As far as connectivity is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will come in WiFi and/or WiFi plus LTE variants.

The upcoming Samsung tablet will come with Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box as well as some other apps like Samsung TouchWiz UI.

The tablet is expected to make its debut in South Korea first before slowly being unraveled in other regions like the United States. Like its release date, there is still no official word on how much the next Samsung tablet will cost.
