"Orphan Black" has reportedly begun filming for season 4, much to the delight of fans worldwide.

This sci-fi series created by BBC America narrates the story of an organization focused on cloning humans. The Neolutionists, as what the show calls them, believes that human evolution should be enhanced by genetic technology. The group's experiment resulted in female clones of the character named Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany). Throughout its run, Maslany has given life to 10 different characters, all of which showed her impressive acting prowess.

"Orphan Black" is currently filming in Toronto and is scheduled to shoot there until spring of 2016, when the show is planned to debut.

BBC has given insight into the upcoming plots for the show, which explains where season 4 will follow after the developments and events of season 3. According to the official synopsis of the show:

"Season 4 of the drama will see leader-of-the-pack, Sarah, reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all — Beth Childs."

The story will continue with Sarah heading to a terrible path as she falls into a relationship with a powerful enemy. Pressured to keep everyone safe, Sarah's old habits will return. And as the sisters are separated by different paths, the distance will help her change for the better.

With season 3 ending with the clones discovering the plans of the Neolutionists as well as their origins, season 4 posts exciting storylines with more of Beth's story being revealed.

The dysfunctional family element of "Orphan Black" is what has worked for the series so far, except for season 3, which tried to veer away from the usual formula.

Now, with season 3 concluded and resolved so far, "Orphan Black" season 4 is expected to perform better than the previous season when it airs in spring 2016.
