Dallas Mavericks 2015 news: Chandler Parsons says he should have presented to DeAndre Jordan

The Dallas Mavericks have moved on from the DeAndre Jordan debacle, but to this day it seems that some people have the drama in their minds. Among them, Chandler Parsons.

As everyone knows by now, Parsons was a key figure in the recruitment of Jordan. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to present to Jordan the things he had planned.

What exactly were they?

Well, Parsons already shipped some Mavericks gear to Jordan, picked out his jersey number, locker, his place on the team bus and plane, and even the home he could buy. Based on the things he enumerated, it seems Parsons had Jordan covered and all latter needed to do was sign on the dotted line.

Parsons seemingly prepared everything that Jordan had wanted, but unfortunately, home was where the heart is for the Los Angeles Clippers forward. As it turned out, he didn't really want to leave; the only reason why he tested the free agent market was that he felt he wasn't welcome in Los Angeles, not to mention by Chris Paul and the Clippers.

In the end, it was all a matter of miscommunication and things got settled. Jordan decided to stay and the Mavericks were stunned at the sudden turn of events.

Everyone knows how sore Mark Cuban got and to this day, he and Clippers coach Doc Rivers have been exchanging shots at one another. So it will be pretty interesting how Jordan will hear it once the Clippers play in Dallas.

While nothing can reverse what the Mavs lost, Parsons and the Mavs simply have to move on and charge the whole thing to experience.

The Mavs aren't among the favorites this season but life goes on. They did some aggressive recruiting on some players, but it remains to be seen if these new faces would be enough to work to their advantage.

For Parsons, he too needs to prepare, considering he is coming from an injury.
