Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, graced the set of the award-winning drama series "Downton Abbey" in Ealing Studios in London just recently. The pregnant royal met the whole cast of the series except Dame Maggie Smith (the show's Dowager Countess of Grantham), who fell ill during the day Kate paid a visit to the studio.

"The Duchess is a great fan of the show so it was interesting to see her step into the world-renowned sets and see the characters come to life," executive producer Gareth Neame said in a statement. "She was so incredibly gracious to spend time with our actors and those behind the camera who bring the saga of the Crawley family to life."

Kate Middleton reportedly looked like she enjoyed the royal treatment during her stopover. She got the chance to watch the filming of a scene set in the servants' quarters and was given a closer look at the breathtaking and historically-precise costume pieces worn by the stars in the hit British drama.

"Downton Abbey" creator Julian Fellowes and the cast, namely Hugh Bonneville, Jim Carter, Robert James-Collier, Michelle Dockery, Penelope Wilton, Laura Carmichael and Phyllis Logan, were all there to welcome Prince William's wife to the show.

The duchess looked stunning in her JoJo Maman Bebe cream-colored coat, and simply managed to look good even though she is about to give birth to Prince George's sibling in a few week's time. Her due date is April and it won't be long before the royal family welcomes their youngest member.

Meanwhile, it is still unknown whether Kate is having a baby prince or a little princess. According to several reports, her fondness of wearing pink outfits and her alleged liking to girls' clothes may already be giving a hint.

"She was very interested," Amaia co-owner Segolene Tresca said of Kate to People magazine. "Every mom that comes in the shop, they look for boys' [clothes] but they always end up looking at the girls' stuff, too. We all hope it's a little girl because it will be so cute, they will be like a little couple."
