It has been three weeks since Kate Middleton gave birth to her second child, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, and the Duchess of Cambridge is said to be enjoying some time with Prince William, Prince George, and the new baby in the privacy of their home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Fans of the young royal are not expecting to have a glimpse of the duchess and the new princess anytime soon as it has been previously reported that she will take a longer maternity leave. However, a new report claims that the the 33-year old mother of two is about to make an early return to her royal duties. 

According to OK Magazine, the Queen is said to want the duchess to attend her birthday parade on June 13. 

"She thinks a month is more than enough time for Kate to take off before she could return to performing her royal duties," a source close to royals told the magazine. "It's a huge public event, an incredible pageant carried out by the Queen's personal troops. Kate will be on show for it, dressed up in a smart outfit, with the eyes of the world on her." 

Back in 2013, the Duchess of Cambridge took 39 days of maternity leave after having her first child, Prince George. So far, there has been no official announcement by the royal palace regarding her schedule for the upcoming months, although she is expected to make an appearance at Trooping the Colors next month. 

Prince William's wife gave birth to their second child on the morning of May 2. She was admitted at St. Mary's Hospital at 6 a.m. and had a 3-hour labor before having a natural birth, reportedly without an epidural. Later that day at 6 p.m., the duke and duchess stepped out of the Lindo Wing to present Princess Charlotte to the world. Many were amazed at Kate's appearance, as she looked radiant and composed mere hours after giving birth. 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambrige are expected to release new family photos in a few weeks' time.
