The rumor mill continues to roll for "Grand Theft Auto 6," and the latest rumors now suggest that the upcoming game could feature the entire United States as a playable map.

According to Moviepilot, if fans will ultimately have the final say over what kind of map will be featured in "GTA 6," then they will likely opt for something massive such as the entire country being an available playground.

Aside from that suggestion, rumors making the rounds online have also said that "GTA 6" could also take place back in Vice City or perhaps also feature multiple cities.

"Grand Theft Auto 6" could also be the first in the series to feature a female protagonist.

Another speculation making waves online is connecting movie star Eva Mendes to the upcoming game. It's believed that if Mendes does indeed decide to be a part of the project, her role will likely involve providing the voice for the new female protagonist, according to Latinos Post.

Mendes is not the only major Hollywood star being rumored to be a part of a new 'Grand Theft Auto" game, as actor Ryan Gosling's name has also been mentioned as a prospect. The rumor mill is not quite as sure as to what role Gosling could possibly play if he becomes part of "GTA 6," but it would in all likelihood be a major part as well.

"GTA 6" could also be bringing back the six-star wanted status that has been absent in the last few "Grand Theft Auto" games. As loyal "Grand Theft Auto" fans will remember, attaining six-star wanted status led to the FBI and other high-powered law enforcement agencies breathing down the player's neck in an attempt to bring him to justice, and that could very well add another layer of complexity to "GTA 6."

"GTA 6" is expected to come out sometime in 2018.
