Internationally recognised author and evangelist J John is returning to Northern Ireland for a series of evening events.

The series of events will run under the title, ‘An Evening With J John’, from which he will celebrate 10 years of his highly successful Just10 Missions.

J John will be accompanied by Dave Hill, Michael John and singer Nicki Rogers.

The events are being promoted as multi-media evenings with interviews, music, a short historical film, and a lot of laughter.

J John testifies that it was the realisation that present day society was showing alarming signs of having turned its back on God, which gave him the desire to reach out to people in a fresh and engaging way.

In January 1998 he began a series of inter-church missions in towns and cities across the UK, based on the Ten Commandments, but with a difference. Unlike the negative list of do's and don'ts most people imagine when they think about the Ten Commandments, the message aimed to be challenging and encouraging.

'Thou shalt not steal' becomes 'How to prosper with a clear conscience' and 'Thou shalt not commit adultery' is unpacked as 'How to Affair-Proof your Relationships'.

J John believes that “the Ten Commandments are not obsolete, they are absolute”. He commented, “Just10 has been incredibly effective and fruitful. We have seen thousands come to Christ, thousands renew their relationship with Christ, thousands repent and thousands make restitution and return stolen goods”.

J John will be in Bangor on Monday 7 September, Belfast on Tuesday 8 September, and Lisburn on Wednesday 9 September.
