Word on the street is that newly engaged couple Erica Mena from "Love & Hip-Hop New York" and rapper Bow Wow are having troubles this early in planning their wedding.

The rumor sprouted after gossip site RhymesWithSnitch spotted the absence of wedding updates in the rapper's Facebook page, which was once bursting with them. Ecumenical News added that the nuptial-related posts were even removed. Bow Wow's page has instead housed promotional posts and updates on his participation in the "CSI" spin-off series titled "CSI: Cyber."

Media outlets are led to believe that the two are in the middle of a big misunderstanding at the moment. Although still unknown and unconfirmed, reports guessed that Mena's past relationship with co-star Cyn Santana plays a role in the argument. In an interview with Hot 97, Mena wished her ex-girlfriend the best.

"She's young and it's hard to be in this world and have your friends have their opinions. It can eventually get to somebody and I think that's eventually what happened," Mena said of Cyn.

"I wish her the best. I think she still feels a way, and I feel bad because I don't want her to go on like that," she went on to say.

In the same interview, the star also talked about Bow Wow.

"For the first time, I really want to keep something to myself. This is going to be for the rest of my life," Mena shared.

In light of the issue, reports reveal that Mena will be leaving "Love & Hip-Hop New York" to go on with a new reality show with her man. Music Times, however, want Mena to think twice before packing her bags for another series, adding that "marriages that begin with a reality show seem to fail." The site went on to cite couples that prove its claim namely Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey, Carmen Electra and Travis Barker.
