A new expansion for "Dying Light" known as "The Following" will be making some new additions, most notably, dirt buggies.

The dirt buggies being added to the game will be capable of working on any kind of surface, enabling players to explore the world of "Dying Light" even further after the newest expansion arrives.

According to Express UK, dirt buggies will not be the only new additions to the game that players can look out for.

"The Following" is expected to add at least one new map to the game, and it is reportedly going to be massive. According to "Dying Light" producer Tymon Smektala, the new map will be bigger than all the other maps already in the game combined, and that means players will have even more ground to cover using their new dirt buggies.

Aside from a larger map, "The Following" is also expected to introduce at least one new game mechanic that could dramatically alter the game moving forward, although the game's developers are staying mum as to what that may be for now.

Smektala also said that many of the additions players will see in "The Following" are influenced heavily by fan feedback. Smektala emphasized that the new expansion for "Dying Light" has been made especially for the fans.

As of now, "The Following" has not been given an official release date.

Fans who already own the season pass for "Dying Light" need not worry because "The Following" will be part of that, according to Polygon.

For those who do not have a season pass for the game, they can still get the new expansion pack, although it is unclear how much it will cost.

As of now, more details about "The Following" and "Dying Light" have yet to be revealed, but more news can be expected at Gamescom next month.
