More characters set to appear in "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" were unveiled in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. In addition to the group of characters confirmed for the upcoming film, there are more cast members jumping in.

The Uchiha family is finally complete with Sakura (Chie Nakamura) joining Sasuke and Sarada. The always pokerfaced Sai (Satoshi Hino) will also appear, as well as the ever motivated shinobi Rock Lee (Yoichi Masukawa). Boruto's mother Hinata Uzumaki (Nana Mizuki) will be in the film, too.

Mitsuki (Ryūichi Kijima), Sai and Ino's kid Inojin Yamanaka (Atsushi Abe), and Boruto's younger sister Himawari (Saori Hayami) will be in the movie as well.

Other characters to show up in the film include Konohamaru Sarutobi (Hidenori Takahashi), Shikamaru Nara (Showtaro Morikubo), Kurotsuchi Tsuchikage (Hana Takeda), Chōjūrō Mizukage (Kouki Miyata), Darui Raikage (Ryota Takeuchi) and Gaara Kazekage (Akira Ishida).

The aforementioned magazine also revealed that the film will depict certain events such as the Chunin Exams with the new generation, and will feature the all-new "InoShikaChō"; Boruto's three-member crew; and finally, the Genin from various villages.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" follows the capers of Naruto's son, who shows his animosity toward his heroic, well-regarded father by trying to institute a legacy much greater than what Naruto has entrenched during his glorious years. He does this by becoming an apprentice to Sasuke.

Throughout this journey, Sasuke's daughter Sarada will be with him and Boruto will make enemies, who are revealed in a previous Weekly Shonen Jump issue to be Momoshiki (Daisuke Namikawa), Shikadai Nar (Kensho Ono) and Momoshiki's loyal follower Kinshiki (Hiroki Yasumoto).

Meanwhile, Comic Book Resources reports that the film will debut at the New York Comic Con on Naruto's birthday, Oct. 10. However, it remains to be seen if "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," which will be shown in Japan on Aug. 7, will get a big screen treatment outside the country.
