'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' movie trailer launch Feb. 6?

Justice League fans rejoice. Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit the big screen in 2016. NukeTheFridge

Ever since that first teaser clip came out during Comic-Con in 2014, a lot of people have been eagerly awaiting when the official trailer for the Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice would actually come out.

Director Zack Snyder has already wrapped up production of the DC flick late last year thus raising fan expectations that a first glimpse of what to expect of the movie may be forthcoming.

Everything has been purely rumors and speculations and the latest word out is that we may see the first official footage once the big budget sci-fi film Jupiter Ascending is released.

Jupiter Ascending is another Warner Bros. film which stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. The movie was directed by the same people behind The Matrix which starred Keanu Reeves.

Now do take note that the said official trailer will be a pretty short one, perhaps something similar to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens. No plot details will be revealed and this one is only a "teaser-trailer" so don't get your hopes up.

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be out by March 25, 2016, more than a year away. The cast includes the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck taking on the role of the Dark Knight/Batman. Amy Adams will play the part of Lois Lane.

The official teaser-trailer was supposedly something that should have been out by now (actually in December, 2014) so it may be interesting if it does come out next month.

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is just one of many DC comic-based movies lined up by Warner Bros. Wonder Woman and two Justice League movies are also planned although rumors have it that it will depend on the success of the highly anticipated movie between the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight .
