Apple iOS 9.2 jailbreak: TaiG to release jailbreak soon?

 Apple Developers

Apple is already working on the iOS 9.2.1 but users are still waiting for the iOS 9.2 jailbreak to see the light of day soon but it looks like their test of patience will soon be over. A new speculation claims that TaiG will release the long-demanded jailbreaking software soon.

The report comes from 3K Assistant, a funding associate of TaiG, who confirmed that the hacking team is currently hard at work to put together the much-awaited jailbreak. In fact, there is considerable progress in the development.

Notably, the original post that 3K Assistant shared on its website to confirm the making and the imminent release of the iOS 9.2 jailbreak was taken down. TaiG is yet to have its say on the matter.

The original post, however, promises that while the operating system is yet to be completely jailbroken, they are extremely close to perfecting an untethered version of the software. 3K Assistant then asked jailbreakers to be patient.

IB Times notes that before the same iOS 9.2 jailbreak post made the rounds, even the official 3K Assistant Weibo account also re-blogged it. This post has been taken down as well. Thankfully, Superphen managed to snap a screenshot and even provided a translation.

There was no timeframe provided by the TaiG associate as to when the iOS 9.2 jailbreak will be made available. But considering the reiteration of the dawning launch, it looks like users should prep up for the event.

Apple is quick in rolling out new versions of its firmware to iPads and iPhones everywhere. The last jailbreak tool users got was for the iOS 9.0. When the Cupertino-based tech giant released the iOS 9.1, the software completely killed the jailbreaker and there hasn't been a new one ever since. Apple is noticeably making efforts to shoo away jailbreaking for good.

At the moment, whether or not an iOS 9.2 jailbreak will be out and about soon, new and solid details should come to light.
