With so much love in the air, it's hard not to get carried away and think that all the grown up Duggar kids are soon to be saying "I do".

With Jill and Jessa Duggar both tying the knot within months of each other this year, the rumour mill has been quickly getting into full swing about the siblings on TLC's hit reality show19 Kids and Counting.

Most especially, there are rumours around John-David's love life.

OK! magazine reported that the 24-year-old twin brother of Jana Duggar had been spotted recently with a mystery woman.

He was snapped with the pretty brunette just weeks after telling People magazine that he was "open to advice" about love.

"I am such an expert in love and marriage," he joked to the magazine.

"Everybody is giving me advice about getting married.  It isn't a big thing.  I'm open to advice."

But the Duggar parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have poured cold water on any speculation that their second oldest son is in a relationship.

In a statement, they said: "John is not courting and not in a relationship ... and he has never been in one!  Just thought we'd set that straight.  He's still waiting for the right one at the right time."

The post on their family blog added that Jim Bob "has tried multiple times to find someone for John".

Jim Bob recently revealed to People magazine that there was a lot of interest from guys in their 24-year-old daughter Jana but so far she hasn't been convinced by them.

"Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls," said Jim Bob. "There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her, I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasn't felt that is the way the Lord is leading."

Jana admitted the Duggar kids get asked a lot about who will be the next one to walk up the aisle, but she doesn't seem to be in any hurry.

She told the magazine: "I just think for me I am just waiting and we'll see.  When God brings that one along it will be his timing."
