Xbox One Games with Gold August 2016 games list features 'WWE 2K16'

Xbox Games with Gold August 2016 Xbox, Microsoft

Xbox's Larry Hyrb aka Major Nelson has released the official list of games that Xbox Games with Gold subscribers can download for free for the month of August. One of the games listed is "WWE 2K16," being offered just a few months shy of the release of "WWE 2K17," which launches this October.

Available from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31 is "Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate," an HD remaster of the original which launched for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is the fourth entry in the series that combines the "Dynasty Warriors" series and the "Samurai Warriors" series but the third to see a Western release given that "Warriors Orochi Z" was only launched in Japan.

"WWE 2K16" is one of the most well-received titles in the long-running franchise as it saw numerous improvements and much needed updates to the series. However, it still retained the same graphical design of older games which is why "WWE 2K17" is seeing a graphical overhaul to update the graphics with a brand new engine.

The game is going to be available for download from Aug. 15 to Sept. 15.

For those owning an Xbox 360 and a Games with Gold account they will be able to download the roguelike game "Spelunky," which was originally launched in 2008 and then remade in HD in 2013. The Xbox 360 version was originally launched in 2012. It will be available from Aug. 1 to Aug. 15.

The other Xbox 360 game, which will be available for free download for subscribers from Aug. 16 to Aug. 31, is "Beyond Good and Evil HD." The game, starring Jade and her boar-like adoptive uncle Pey'j, has become a cult classic and while a sequel has been announced developement has been in hiatus since 2008.

Both "Spelunky" and "Beyond Good and Evil" are also available for Xbox One owners due to their inclusion in the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility feature.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
