WWE SummerSlam 2016 predictions: Triple H rumored go head to head with Seth Rollins

Following the events of WWE Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins may not have inherited the title of WWE Heavyweight Champion now that Roman Reigns has been suspended, as that honor goes to Dean Ambrose. But Rollins is still rumored to be up for a big fight soon as the Inquisitr points out he may be the new target of WWE veteran Triple H.

According to the report, there have been talks of Triple H coming in for a big match at this year's WWE SummerSlam. He hasn't been seen on television for some time, particularly following his match during Wrestlemania 32, and a lot of delays occurred due to Rollins' injury and the return of Shane McMahon, which in turn caused a feud with Stephanie McMahon.

With Reigns suspended and Ambrose holding the belt, Triple H has been rumored to be attending SummerSlam to fight Shane McMahon and settle the feud Shane has with his sister Stephanie. However, fans speculate this is all a ruse just to get Triple H closer to Seth Rollins.

Inquisitr reports that Rollins has been a heel aka antagonist on the WWE for sometime and Triple H's actions could reverse things around, with Triple H becoming the heel and Rollins turning face aka protagonist. This might then give Rollins the needed support from the audiences when he goes up against Ambrose at a later event.

The report continues to point out that if Triple H is really going to be fighting Seth Rollins, his own protege, then he must appear on regular WWE programming soon in order to set up the feud and get the events going so that the story can hit its peak during SummerSlam.

Triple H, Seth Rollins and the WWE have yet to officially announce the fight cards for WWE SummerSlam, which is set to take place this August.
