Brock Lesnar has been granted a "one-off opportunity" by the WWE to compete at the upcoming UFC 200. Announced by the WWE offiical website, Lesnar will be attending and competing at UFC 200 this July 9 and then return to market and compete in WWE's SummerSlam.

According to a report from Cage Side Seats, Lesnar has been negotiating a deal with both the WWE and UFC for some time. It is further speculated that the deal had been worked on since Wrestlemania 32. Lesnar is still currently contracted under the WWE but competed in the UFC during his years out of the wrestling company.

It is also noted that one of the conditions for letting Lesnar compete at UFC 200 is that the UFC actively promote WWE SummerSlam in one of its major pay-per-view matches. It is likely that this will be done during UFC 200, with special ads being played to promote SummerSlam and the match Brock Lesnar will be in.

More importantly, the UFC has been reportedly looking for a suitable match to fill in the void now that Conor McGregor will not be fighting Nate Diaz in UFC 200. This match was pushed back to UFC 202, which will be held on Aug. 20, following McGregor's dispute with the promoters and marketing division of the UFC.

According to a report from ESPN, Brock Lesnar will be up against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 and it is highly speculated that he will be fighting Dean Ambrose at SummerSlam. During the interview with ESPN, Lesnar acknowledged that it has been some time since he fought in the UFC and that this will show during the first round of the match.

"Is there going to be some ring rust? Are you out of your [expletive] mind? Of course there is," Lesnar explained. "But maybe Mark Hunt can knock it out of me in the first 10 seconds and then he's going to get his [expletive] whooped."
