WWE Money in the Bank 2016 predictions: Cena vs Aj Styles rumored

 WWE.com

The WWE Money in the Bank has become its own Pay-Per-View event after it initially springboarded from the Wrestlemania series. The next installment will be taking place this month and one of the most highly rumored matches to take place is that between John Cena and AJ Styles.

While some of the other matches have been confirmed, the fight between Cena and Styles has yet to be officially announced, but a report from Den of Geek points out that it is more than likely to happen. Cena appeared during the a recent episode of "WWE RAW" during Memorial Day to promote the military when Styles entered the arena and demanded a match.

Gallows and Anderson were present at the time and it appeared to be an even match until Styles betrayed Cena and the three ganged up on him. It is now likely that Cena and Styles will settle the score in Money in the Bank, although the exact circumstances of their match have yet to be revealed.

According to Smark Out Moment, making AJ Styles a heel wrestler might be a questionable move. "Heel" is a wrestling term for a stereotypical bad guy, which would make John Cena viewed by the audience as the good guy they can cheer for. However, the report points out that it does make sense given how the roster has been split.

The report also states that there is a chance of the John Cena and AJ Styles match being delayed. If the duo does not meet up during Money in the Bank they are likely to fulfill their fight during WWE Battleground or at this year's SummerSlam event.

Neither AJ Styles nor John Cena has reappeared on WWE to reaffirm that they will fight during Money in the Bank, which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada this June 19.
