WWE draft rumors: Roman Reigns rumored to be going to RAW

Roman Reigns WWE

With the brand split of the WWE bringing back the separate rosters of the WWE RAW and WWE Smackdown, a report from Forbes reveals that while John Cena is set to become the face of Smackdown, Roman Reigns is set to become the face of WWE Raw.

The report continues to point out that the two shows will be handled and presented very differently. They will have separate production teams, separate production sets, different programming schedules, different rosters and different marketing teams all together.

This means Roman Reigns will be the total representation of what RAW really is and how it is different from Smackdown.

By doing so, it is possible that Reigns will be sticking with his former Shield allies, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. The trio have gone through some conflict in recent months and Reigns ultimately ended up being suspended but they do draw in a lot of attention that raises the show's viewership ratings.

Despite this, the report points out that there might be some means of splitting the three and having either Ambrose or Rollings move over to Smackdown. Doing so will reportedly help John Cena, already a popular WWE superstar, to draw in more viewers on Smackdown and its new Tuesday time slot.

It is also stated in a another report that Roman Reigns would likely be in charge of the new and upcoming WWE stars while John Cena and Smackdown handle most of the established superstars from the past decade or so. This would help the two shows differentiate from each other as they have different focuses and talents.

Reigns, who reportedly violated the WWE drug policy, is currently suspended but the report points out that when his suspension ends he will be colliding against Ambrose and Rollins in the upcoming WWE Battleground, which occurs this July 24. If their feud continues it may push on until WWE Wrestlemania 33, even after the brand split.
