'Walking Dead' season 5 episode 4 'Slabtown' - Beth's whereabouts revealed, a new character to emerge

"Where is Beth?"

Since Beth's (Emily Kinney) disappearance in Season 4, "The Walking Dead" has been away from her for quite a while. And after a long wait, elucidation may finally be at hand. The upcoming fourth episode from the fifth season of the post-apocalyptic AMC series looks to be the first to tackle more of the Beth kidnapping trouble.

In the upcoming episode "Slabtown", viewers will finally get to see Beth's face again—this time with a big gash on her left cheek and with qualm in her eyes. Spoilers all over the internet identify her present location as a spine-chilling hospital in Atlanta. She is not the only one there though. In the very same site, there are others who share the same feeling of fleeing from the eerie building.

What makes the place deserve the harsh description? A couple of leaked videos circling the online world right now features how the country girl has only been trying hard to get away from her kidnappers from the moment she gained consciousness. Her gut feeling about the place should be enough to consider fleeing.

Either way, with the reputation attached to the post-apocalyptic show, it's easy to know that a certain situation like that only imply trouble. The perfect example is the Terminus aka the Sanctuary, which turned out to be nothing but a flesh-eater's asylum, and nowhere near a survivor's refuge. This show is all-out about the fact that trust can basically get someone eaten.

Speaking of trust issues, individuals who introduced themselves as Dr. Steven Edwards and Officer Dawn Lerner attended to Beth in the hospital and promised her that everything is okay. Expectedly, Beth does not buy any of that. She even tried to fend them off with the needle in her arm. In another leaked video, Officer Lerner showed Beth glimpses of his true (maybe dark) self, telling the girl that she is 'indebted' to them.

Meanwhile, a new character is literally going out of the bushes in the next episode. Spoilers say that Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol's (Melissa McBride) went in pursuit of the car believed to have been used by Beth's captors. Daryl went back from the mission and into the church without his original companion, but rather with a new unfamiliar one named Noah (Tyler James Williams). The new guy is said to have plotted an escape with Beth. Obviously, the plan worked out for him alone.

What happened to Carol? Rumors state the woman has been hit by a station wagon where she was brought by two hospital men to the same hospital Beth is in. And the two should cross paths soon.

Other rumors include Beth's imminent death, sparked by her no-show in the "The Walking Dead" set for a quite some time.

That's clearly too much disarray in a single episode yet again. Fight the bafflement and check out the new episode, "Slabtown" which will be aired on Nov. 2. If you miss the episode, be sure to watch it online via live stream on AMC.
