The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 U.S. release date is supposed to be this Friday, but consumers itching to get their hands on Samsung's new phablet can purchase the device in Amazon.

A 32 GB unlocked variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now available in Amazon. Samsung offers the handset for $860 in black and white models as well as in gold variant. The website lists the device as SM-N910 Factory Unlocked International Model, which is noted "Not For CDMA Carriers Like Verizon Sprint etc." Although the phablet is for free shipping, it has no warranty.

The Galaxy Note 4 is currently available for pre-order in major U.S. carriers AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon for $299 upfront price with two-year contract.

Meanwhile, the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in U.K. has been pushed back to Oct. 17 instead of the earlier Oct. 10 launch, according to the latest reports.

The delay was announced by Samsung UK via Twitter that reads, "Due to the amazing interest and demand for the Galaxy Note 4, the device will now go on sale in the UK from the 17th October."

The handset is already available for pre-order in various U.K. carriers.

On the other hand, the release of its brother, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, is still unknown although latest rumors state that the curved phablet will roll out in the company's key markets on Oct. 23. This is hinted by a document spotted at the FCC, which indicates that the device will be released in the U.S. via AT&T and U.S. Cellular. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is claimed to be a limited edition handset and will be available in selected regions or in limited quantities.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 packs the following specs and features:

  • 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED at 571ppi
  • 2.7Ghz octa-core processor
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 32GB of onboard storage expandable up to 64GB
  • 16-megapixel rear-facing camera featuring a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer
  • 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 3,220mAh battery
