AMC Studios posted an official promotional photo for "The Walking Dead" season 5 that hinted the death of Daryl Dixon.

The photo was posted on "The Walking Dead's" official Facebook page last week that showed cast members Rick Grimes, Carl Grimes, Michonne, Glenn Rhee, Maggie Greene, Sasha, Sgt. Abraham Ford, Tara Chambler, Ford, Bob Stookey, Eugene Porter, and Rosita Espinosa. It is noticeable that Daryl is not present in the photo. This fuels the speculations that Daryl will die next season.

This is not the first time that it was hinted that Daryl will be killed off next season. Actor Norman Reedus, who plays the role of Daryl, tweeted once "just wanted to say thank you for all the nice people that are waiting outside of set when we get off work. thank you guys for all the love".

Moreover, show creator Robert Kirkman casually revealed Daryl's death in a previous interview. "There's a lot going on with Terminus," revealed Kirkman to Entertainment Weekly. "In our premiere episode of season 5 we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them. And by the end of that episode you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show. Oh, and Daryl dies."

AMC Studios has not confirmed whether one of the most-loved characters in the series will exit next season. The series will pick up where it left off. Daryl will be spotted in Terminus. Previous reports claimed that he may kindle a romance with Beth Greene who he took care of in the previous seasons.

The cast and crew are all back to work and currently filming in Atlanta. "The Walking Dead" season 5 will be back on air on October 12, 9PM on AMC.
