'The Walking Dead' season 6 episode 11 news: Jesus expands Rick's world in 'Knots Untie'

The Walking Dead - Tom Payne as Jesus AMC

The previous episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 introduced fans to the character of Jesus (Tom Payne). First encountering Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl (Norman Reedus), Jesus was eventually led to the Alexandria Safe-Zone, and the latest promo trailer hints that Jesus is about to change the group's view of the world.

In the trailer Jesus is shown exploring Rick's home when Carl (Chandler Riggs) points a gun at him. The scenes then cut to Jesus talking to Rick and the group, explaining to them that their "world is about to get a whole lot bigger."

Fans of the original "Walking Dead" comics will recall that Jesus is not a lone survivor out in the zombie apocalypse but is in fact a member of a different community known as the Hilltop Colony. This community also trades and communicates with another place called The Kingdom, led by a man known as Ezekiel.

It is speculated that the upcoming episode, "Knots Untied," will see Jesus bringing Rick's group outside to explore and meet the residents of the two aforementioned communities, possibly leading to a union between Alexandria and the Hilltop Colony.

However, as a report from the IB Times points out, Jesus is not instantly trusted.

As Rick's group explores, he warns the others to shoot Jesus on the spot the moment the man whistles. Rick then warns Jesus, stating that if bringing them out was a trick it wouldn't end well for him, hinting that Jesus would be killed off if he attempted to do anything harmful to the group.

With Jesus already introduced into the show, it is only a matter of time for The Saviors and their leader Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to make an appearance. Several of the Saviors already tried to rob Daryl but were blown to pieces and it is likely that Negan or at least some of his followers may make an appearance in the episode.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 11 will air this Feb. 28.
