In the next episode of "The Originals," Freya (Riley Voelkel) will do everything in her power to keep her siblings safe, despite the threatening consequence she would have to face. Episode 7 of "The Originals" season 4 will be called, "High Water and a Devil's Daughter."

In the promo trailer for the next episode of "The Originals," Freya is seen casting a spell against an evil spirit that she says is out to get her brother and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). When she comes face-to-face with The Hollow's messenger, he is seen to be insulting Marcel. At the end of the short clip, Freya uses her power and sends their enemy to his knees in agonizing pain.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Voelkel explains that the dark magic they use in this week's episode is something they have not dealt with in the past.

The synopsis for "High Water and a Devil's Daughter," released by CarterMatt, tells how Freya is the hero for the next episode by doing whatever she can to protect the compound from any harm they may encounter with The Hollow's messenger. By protecting the compound, Klaus (Joseph), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), and Hope (Summer Fontana) will be stuck inside. This causes Freya to be put into danger because she encounters The Hollow's messenger who is very powerful.

As Freya does whatever she can to keep the compound safe from The Hollow, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) is hesitant to strengthen their defense because of the consequences it may have when performed. This pushes Elijah (Daniel Gillies) to do the dangerous act himself.

"The Originals" fans should be excited for the "High Water and a Devil's Daughter"episode as they will see a new side of Elijah as he steps in to do something that will help those around him, but may have a negative impact on him.

"The Originals" season 4, episode 7 is scheduled to air on Friday, May 5, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
