It was announced last week that the upcoming second season of CW's "The Originals" will be putting forward more flashbacks to tell the tale along with bigger fights.

In an interview with actor Joseph Morgan, who plays the role of Original hybrid Klaus on the spinoff series, told EW that filming has been "non-stop" and fans of the show can look forward to huge fight sequences.

In short, incidents will go rocketing sky-high in season two of "The Originals" as compared to the first season.

The audience can also look forward to the season two storyline, which will focus more on Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) as she and Klaus seek a safe place in New Orleans where they can raise their daughter, Hope, who was believed to have died in the finale of the last season.

With Hayley becoming a hybrid, Tonkin has shared that it may help strengthen her character's relationship with Klaus, but may not really guarantee anything.

"I would say that it helps their relationship, but it's not like everything is just fine after that," the 25-year-old actress said. "There's a long way to go for all of these characters, I think. They're truly troubled, these creatures."

Meanwhile, Klaus' parents Mikael and Esther will be coming back in the second season, although this is expected to have unhelpful effects on Klaus as there have been no positive emotions between him and his father, most especially. On the other hand, flashbacks about Klaus' bond with his mother will be shown in season two whereas the presence of his brother in the upcoming episodes may not be a good thing for him.

Fans can get a glimpse of more blood and drama as "The Originals" returns on CW for its second season this Monday, October 6, with its first episode "Rebirth." If you miss tonight's episode, be sure to catch up online via live stream on the CW website.
