'The Flash' season 3 episode 6 spoilers, news: Wally West talks to Alchemy

A promotional still for "The Flash" The CW

"Flashpoint" may have resolved itself in just two episodes in "The Flash" season 3, but the ramifications of the actions done by Barry Allen, also known as the Flash (Grant Gustin), will continue to cause trouble. It now appears that Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) will be the next main villain.

As per a report from Screen Rant, the latest official image for season 3 episode 6, titled "Shade," showcases Wally West talking to the villain Alchemy. Given how Alchemy has been approaching people and giving them the powers they had in the "Flashpoint" timeline, it is possible Wally approached Alchemy for the same purpose.

In the "Flashpoint" timeline, Wally was known as Kid Flash, a speedster who gained his powers when his experimental vehicle was struck by lightning. Fans speculated that Wally might try to replicate the circumstances to gain his powers or approach Alchemy after receiving visions and dreams of his "Flashpoint" life.

Comic Book Movie, however, reveals that there are other official stills for the episode, and in some of them, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) is shown, armed with a gun that targets meta-humans. It is possible that Wally is merely talking to Alchemy to set up a trap so that Joe and Barry can finally capture him.

The official synopsis also indicates that Joe might simply be there without Wally's permission. He is speculated to have followed Wally after Wally learns that about his powers as Kid Flash in an alternate reality. Joe may simply be trying to keep his son safe.

The CW released an official promo trailer, but it only focuses on Wally wanting to gain his speedster powers despite everyone warning him about its dangers. Barry is also shown with a surprised face when Alchemy does appear, indicating that Wally is indeed making some kind of bargain to regain his speed powers.

"The Flash" season 3 episode 6 airs on Nov. 15.
