The first official trailer for "The 100" season has launched online and it showcases the aftermath of the season 2 finale. Clarke (Eliza Taylor) ended the second season by causing the death of the people on Mount Weather and now it appears that she is being hunted down by just about every faction on Earth.
Speaking to someone off camera, she defended her actions by stating she simply did what she had to do, nothing more and nothing less. The scene then cuts to Grounder Indra (Adina Porter), who states that Clarke is in fact being hunted down by "everyone."
It is very likely that many of the other tribes are trying to kill Clarke for her actions while others are searching for her in order to find her and give their support.
While Clarke's journey is still unknown, there are a few scenes showcasing the rest of the cast. Monty (Christopher Larkin) appears to once again be in captivity by a Grounder while Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) is shown sharing some bad news and advice to Bellamy (Bob Morley).
Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is shown with Jasper (Devon Bostick) and the two appear to be grieving, although the trailer does not reveal why they are doing so.
As stated in a report from Screen Rant, very little is known about season 3 thus far. Isaiah Washington, Paige Turco, Lindsey Morgan, Ricky Whittle and Richard Harmon are all set to reprise their roles but there are no plot details teasing what may be going on up in the space stations.
Washington's Jaha did find a mysterious mansion that is currently resided by a peculiar artificial intelligence, which controls a part of the space station. Harmon's Murphy, on the other hand, discovered a lighthouse, although who might be in there and what its purpose may be are still unknown.
"The 100" season 3 premieres this Jan. 21, 2016.
